The collection consists of recycled yarn blankets, wall hangings and cushions. The foundation of the project are the blankets, made from 100% recycled post-consumer textile waste were used wool garments are sorted by colour, broken down and re-spun into yarns. In turn, the salvage from the blanket production was re-used to create the wall hangings and cushions. In essence, the collection is a commentary on the imperatives of waste reduction, recycling, and responsible sourcing. It is also a visual celebration of creative connection and friendship.’
