Beyond the central apple tree, our new space sits across the end of our garden, making the most of any sunshine and giving us a view back across the garden to the house.
Layering up the look with wall mounted art pieces (made from outdoor fabric), designed in collaboration with Atelier Bebop adds to the feeling of an interior space outdoors.
They bring colour and form to the space all year round. And our playful signature squiggle...
The deck is a nod to the washed oak flooring in our home, connecting the spaces. It is also durable and made from recycled materials, so it looks great in any season.
Cushions from our Forest hill Collection with Custhom can be brought out to add comfort and texture.
The whole pavilion is elevated by natural stone pieces
Created in collaboration with Solid Nature , we worked with a selection of waste pieces of stone that had been left over from their previous projects and we designed a coffee table, side table, wall plaque and serving board. They add colour and beautiful natural texture that brings the whole space to life.
The blue stone was too beautiful to waste. It was a small mishapen offcut but we gave it this shape to maximise the piece. We chose coloured stone to bring life to the space and added in classic arabescato marble to tie it all together.
The dining table top and the cabinet are a grounding moment of deep blue enamel
The above pieces are by Vlaze. Again, bringing an interior vibe to the outdoor to connect this end of the garden with our house and make us feel that we have another room to play with. Perfect for late summer evenings with friends but equally fun for autumn celebrations with the firepit in the gravel, toasting marshmallows. We fully intend to get a pizza oven, to sit on the cabinet and try out our new found sourdough skills on some woodfired pizza.
Whatever the weather, we now have a beautiful vista to look out on all year round and lift our spirits.
